Brandon Travis is in it for the long haul. Originally drawn to Helios because of the vision of the founders, he sees endless potential:

“I believe Helios is positioned for success both today and long into the future.”

Which is not to say that the future won’t be without challenge, but Brandon thrives in such an environment. He finds that every engagement presents a new and unique challenge, and he wakes up each day excited to put his skill set to use to overcome whatever lies ahead, creating value for clients and the company.

As Chief Technology Officer, Brandon has three key responsibilities. First, he must establish the strategic technical direction for the firm. Second, he solves all technology issues on each client engagement. Third, he develops projects that create value for the clients and company. He acts as the bridge between his clients today, and their desired future.

He is constantly shifting from externally working with clients, solving any issues, and internally with the development team to overcome any obstacles. The true challenge lies in the language, for Brandon must speak fluently in various languages in order to communicate with all parties, covering topics from engineering, finance, development, taxes, legal, accounting to technology. Brandon thrives in this fast-paced environment, working long hours and honing his ability for abstract thinking. It’s a gritty job, but he’s definitely up to the challenge.
